Renowned Thai pottery artist Somluck Pantiboon is the founder of the Doi Din Daeng Pottery center in Chiang Rai. After his graduation in Industrial Design, he decided to further his study in pottery with masters in Japan. He spent 5 years in Japan before returning to Thailand to found his studio. His style combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with northern Thai techniques to create minimalist ceramic works.
