Jeravej Hongsakul founded IDIN, which is an acronym for ‘Integrating Design Into Nature’ in 2004. His design philosophy is to merge the sense of surrounding and natures into architectural aesthetics through a process of analyzing and prioritizing contextual needs. In addition to being an acronym, the Thai word “idin” describes the natural phenomenon when soil releases beautiful scent after rainfall. It symbolizes Thailand’s tropical climate that IDIN designs always respond to.
