Tang Contemporary highlights Chinese artists at its new space

The new VIP Space is crafted to match the needs of Chinese and Southeast Asian art collectors.

When it comes to Chinese art in Bangkok, one name that apparently comes to mind is Tang Contemporary, one of Bangkok’s leading galleries that is an expert in Chinese contemporary art. Not only that the gallery just relocated itself to River City Bangkok, but also to respond to the growing demands, Tang Contemporary launched its new VIP Space with an exhibition which specifically celebrates the works of Chinese artists.

The VIP Space at Sahai Place, Sukhumvit 24, will be where collectors can drop by to admire the works of Chinese and Southeast Asian artists. Showcasing now is a group exhibition of early classic works of leading Chinese artists like  Liu Xiaodong, Wang Guangyi, Li Shan, Guo Wei, Wang Xingwei, Wang Jinsong, Chen Wenbo, Zhang Yongxu, Zhou Tiehai, and Yuan Yuan. After experiencing turbulent times in China during 1950s, these artists reflect their viewpoints on living and working as artists in China through different styles.

Tang Contemporary Art Gallery: VIP Space is open between 11.00-19.00 hrs. For more information please visit the website tangcontemporary.com
