Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort in Chiang Rai province of Thailand might be famous for its elephants, but now you can get a lot closer to our gigantic friends with the hotel’s latest room type, which is the transparent Jungle Bubble that allows you to spend the night with the elephants in their natural habitat.

As the world’s first, the two Jungle Bubbles designed by Eye In The Sky are built on raised wooden decks to offer majestic views of the elephants, while the transparent bubble is open to the starry night. They are also fully air-conditioned, each of which comes with a bedroom, a living space, a non-transparent en-suite shower and vanity, plus the seating area.

Guests at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort can purchase the Jungle Bubble experience as an optional activity and spend the night from dusk till dawn, returning to the hotel in the morning.  Rates start from 17,700 THB per night for two people and include a delectable dinner basket; a fully stocked mini bar; 24-hour in-room dining service; and tea and coffee making facilities.

Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort is famous for combining luxurious hospitality with one-of-a-lifetime experiences with the rescued elephants. The Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF) was founded to help elephants in need and in danger. They might be abused or not be able to provide income for their mahouts and the families. The activities at the resort are designed to allow elephant caretakers to raise funds they need to look after the elephants without forcing them into activities they might not enjoy.
